Leadership and Structure in the SIP
Each of the communities within the Opus Spiritus Sancti is independent and autonomous although all share a common spirituality and mission. Each is also an international community. Consequently, the SIP has an international leader team to help coordinate and promote SIP activities on the international level.
Locally each SIP member belongs to a group which has an elected leader, whose task is to coordinate and lead the monthly meetings of the group, to promote the SIP in the diocese and in neighboring dioceses, and to attend to any other business matters the group may have.
The Secular Institute of Priests in all areas of the world where the groups are found, understands itself to be bound to the brothers and sisters of the other communities in the Opus Spiritus Sancti through our common spirituality.
The complete administrative structure of the SIP can be found in the Constitutions of the community.
