MISSION EFFECTIVENESS - In order for our mission to be effective, all important aspects must work together: right spirituality, leadership, and financial means.
SUPPORT OUR WORK - Become a partner with the Opus Spiritus Sancti in our mission and work
ESTATES AND WILLS
No matter how small your estate is, creating a current, valid will is the most important step in careful planning for your loved ones and for those charitable organizations you wish to support.
No one but you should decide the appropriate distribution of your estate. Careful planning will ensure your wishes. There are three ways to give through your will: percentage, fixed amount or residue.
PLANNED GIVING
Gifts of Stocks, Bonds and Tangible Assets:
Friends can contribute securities or property directly to the Opus Spritus Sancti and receive a deduction based on the current market value on the date of the gift. In this way, you can make a difference on your capital gain taxes.
LIFE INSURANCE
Perhaps you have a paid-up life insurance policy that could become a gift to the Opus Spiritus Sancti and then become an income tax deduction for its value. This is generally the cash value of the policy. Or you may wish to make the Opus Spiritus Sancti the beneficiary making it possible for you to deduct the premium payments as your gift.
CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES
Friends can contribute cash or appreciated assets in exchange for a Charitable Gift Annuity. You then can receive significant income while minimizing taxes and, ultimately, benefit the Opus Spiritus Sancti with the gift portion of the annuity.
CHARITABLE TRUSTS
A variety of trust instruments exist that can assist a donor in estate planning while affording the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the Opus Spiritus Sancti. The Opus Spiritus Sancti is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, registered in the State of Iowa, USA. As with any planned gift, please check with your attorney and/or tax advisor before making any decision.

You can double your gift to the Opus Spiritus Sancti if your employee has a matching gift program. Obtain and fill out the Matching Gift Form from your personnel office. Send it to the Opus Spiritus Sancti with your gift, and we will complete the form and return it to your employer. Your employer will send the Opus Spiritus Sancti a check that matches your gift.
